Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Packing and Dispatch operative to join our stockroom team. This role involves ensuring the accurate and efficient packing of goods, managing dispatch processes, and maintaining a smooth flow of stock movement. The successful candidate will play a vital part in upholding our quality standards and meeting delivery deadlines. Previous stockroom experience is advantageous. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals seeking to develop their skills within a dynamic logistics environment.

Responsibilities

Packing goods securely and accurately according to order specifications
Loading and unloading items using appropriate handling techniques
Stocking shelves and organising stock within the stockroom for easy retrieval
Conducting quality control checks to ensure products meet company standards before dispatch
Assisting in inventory management, including stock rotation and cycle counts
Ensuring health and safety procedures are followed during all handling activities
Maintaining a clean, organised workspace to promote efficiency and safety

Qualifications

Prior experience in warehousing, shipping & receiving, or related roles is preferred
Strong organisational skills with attention to detail for picking & packing tasks
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently
Good understanding of materials handling procedures and safety protocols
Proven ability to work effectively within a team environment in a fast-paced setting
Physical fitness to handle manual tasks throughout shifts

This role is ideal for motivated individuals eager to contribute to an efficient logistics operation while developing their warehousing skills in a supportive environment.
