Pizza1889 Pizza Chef - full or part time

Who we are?

At Pizza 1889 we create authentic stone baked pizzas of the highest quality. Using only the freshest ingredients and traditional techniques, our hand-made pizzas are made entirely onsite at our unique units in a fun and entertaining way!
We believe in authenticity, creativity, and quality
We operate out of a shipping container, so we are not a restaurant per se.

Who are we looking for?

At least 1 plus years’ experience in a fast-paced environment – you have been making pizza or work in a quick serve restaurant environment
You speak very good English and can communicate well with both colleagues and customers
You inspire people – want to learn how to develop yourself and support the team to reach their potential.
You have high standards and good knowledge on of working in a successful team from controlling costs, food quality to customer service.
You have a passion for food pizza and want to learn how to run a kitchen
You have great time management and understand the importance of leading by example
You care about customers and your fellow team members

What is the job role?

Cooking - if you don't have pizza experience we will train you quickly
Ensuring the Pizza1889 brand is promoted and represented in everything you and the staff do as part of the working day
Engaging with customers to ensure they receive the very best customer service
Supporting the management team in helping run the store
Making pizzas! From making dough to stretching, topping, and using the oven. Then finishing off by cutting, boxing, and delivering to the customer or delivery driver
The ability to get in the kitchen and oversee the busy shifts
Learning to Help with the day-to-day operations necessary in the running of the store - covering, Ordering, rotas, stock takes, hiring, and training
Over time, the ability to run move up in the company to a bigger role as we grow

Job Types: Part-time, Full-time

Pay: Up to £12.71 per hour
