Full job description

Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Factory Labourer to join our assembly team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting production processes, assisting with assembly tasks, and maintaining a safe and organised work environment. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to develop their skills within a dynamic workshop setting.

Responsibilities

Assist with the assembly of bespoke products using hand tools and power tools as required
Support the movement and organisation of materials within the workshop and production area
Perform basic maintenance and cleaning of equipment and workspaces to ensure safety and efficiency
Follow health and safety guidelines at all times during daily tasks
Support team members in meeting production targets and deadlines
Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure standards are met
Use of Forlklift Truck to load and off load

Requirements

Previous bespoke assembly experience is desirable
Mechanical knowledge or experience with hand tools and power tools is required
Ability to perform manual labour, including lifting heavy items safely
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
Physical fitness to stand for extended periods
A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn new skills
Forklift truck licence is essential

Your working hours will be

Monday - Thursday 7.30am - 4pm

Friday - 7.30 am - 1.30pm

Overtime - Rare but as required.
