Full job description

About the Role

RW Joinery is a specialist manufacturer and installer of bespoke fire-rated and acoustic doorsets, working with leading contractors across the UK.

We are looking for a highly organised and commercially aware Administrator to support the day-to-day running of our projects. This role is central to ensuring accurate reporting, cost control, and smooth coordination between office, site teams, and suppliers.

Key Responsibilities

Timesheets & Payroll Administration

- Collect and review weekly timesheets from site teams, ensuring accuracy and completeness

- Liaise with site supervisors to resolve missing or unclear information

- Submit timesheets to Quantity Surveyors for approval

- Input approved data into SAGE for payroll processing

Procurement & Purchasing

- Process internal requisitions, obtain quotations, and raise purchase orders

- Support onboarding of new suppliers and ensure required documentation is completed

- Coordinate with Accounts for supplier setup within SAGE

Plant & Asset Control

- Maintain and update the company asset register alongside Production (Goods In)

- Monitor plant returns from site and reconcile against records

- Identify and report discrepancies, ensuring timely updates

- Carry out regular reviews of plant and asset records

General Administration

- Maintain organised digital and physical filing systems

- Manage project documentation and records

- Coordinate communication between office, site teams, and suppliers

- Provide general administrative support across commercial and operational functions

About You

- Strong organisational skills with high attention to detail

- Experience in construction, manufacturing, or commercial environments preferred

- Confident with data, spreadsheets, and systems (SAGE desirable)

- Able to prioritise workload and meet deadlines

- Proactive and able to work independently

- Strong communication skills
