Overview

HOURS: 10am - 2pm … We are seeking a motivated Junior Administrator to join our dynamic team with the opportunity for progression. Candidate must be able to drive or commute to office in Rayleigh. This entry-level role offers an excellent opportunity to develop administrative skills within a professional environment. The successful candidate will support various office functions, ensuring smooth daily operations and contributing to organisational efficiency. Prior office experience is advantageous but not necessary but a proactive attitude and willingness to learn are equally valued.

Responsibilities

Assist with general administrative tasks including data entry, filing, and document management
Manage incoming calls with professional phone etiquette and direct enquiries appropriately
Support scheduling and calendar management for team members
Prepare correspondence, reports, and presentations using Microsoft Office and Excel
Maintain organised records and ensure information accuracy in systems
Support team members with ad hoc administrative duties as required
Contribute to maintaining a tidy and efficient office environment

Skills

Proven office experience or administrative background is preferred
computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace (Gmail, Docs, Sheets)
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
Good data entry skills with attention to detail
Professional phone etiquette and clear communication skills
Ability to work independently whilst being a collaborative team player
Basic clerical experience is beneficial but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate

Pay: £15.00-£16.00 per hour
