We’re looking for a dedicated and ambitious Demi Chef de Partie to join our award-winning team at The Fish Hotel — our laid-back luxury woodland retreat in the heart of the Cotswolds.

The Fish is home to Hook, our 2 AA Rosette restaurant, where relaxed dining meets exceptional seasonal food, alongside our popular pizza kitchen. As a Demi Chef de Partie, you’ll work as part of a talented and supportive brigade under the guidance of Michelin-starred Culinary Director Martin Burge, giving you the perfect environment to build confidence, refine your core techniques and continue developing your career.

You’ll be joining a friendly, well-organised kitchen where quality ingredients, teamwork and consistency are at the heart of everything we do. If you’re passionate about fresh, seasonal produce and are looking for the next step in your culinary career, we’d love to hear from you.

What you’ll be doing:

Supporting your section to deliver consistently high-quality dishes
Preparing ingredients and assisting with mise en place and service
Working closely with senior chefs to learn and develop
Maintaining excellent food hygiene and kitchen cleanliness
Helping to keep service smooth, efficient and professional
Contributing to stock control, prep and organisation

What we’re looking for:

Experience working with fresh, seasonal produce in a quality-led kitchen
A strong work ethic and commitment to learning
A reliable, positive and professional approach
Good communication and teamwork skills
A desire to grow and progress in a structured, supportive environment

The details:

£35,692 per year
Plus share of gratuities (approximately £3,000–£3,500)
Approximately £39,000 total earnings
48 hours per week
Meals on duty and uniform provided
Live-in accommodation available
