Full job description

Job Summary

Due to continued growth, LG Howson Ltd is looking for a hardworking and reliable Groundworks Labourer to join our expanding team.

We undertake a variety of civil engineering and groundworks projects across Dorset, Hampshire, and the surrounding areas, working on both commercial and residential developments.

The Role

You will assist our groundworks teams with a wide range of tasks including:

Site preparation and clearance
Assisting with drainage, foundations and utility installations
Loading and unloading materials
Operating hand tools and small plant (where qualified)
Maintaining a clean, safe and organised work site
Supporting groundworkers, machine operators and site supervisors
General labouring duties as required

What We're Looking For

Previous construction or groundworks experience preferred
Full UK driving licence preferred
Good work ethic and willingness to learn
Reliable, punctual and able to work as part of a team
Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions

Pay: £20.00-£24.00 per hour

Work Location: In person
