Job Title: Purchase Ledger Assistant (Part Time)

Location: Glasgow

Company: Dentec Hillington Ltd.

Job Type: Part-Time, Permanent.

Hours: Up To 20 hours per week (flexible).

Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience.

About Dentec

Dentec is a growing and established accident repair business based in Glasgow, providing vehicle body repair services and solutions to customers across Scotland. We are seeking a reliable and experienced Part-Time Purchase Ledger Assistant to join our finance team and support the day-to-day management of supplier accounts and invoice reconciliation process.

Key Responsibilities

Processing high volumes of purchase invoices accurately and efficiently.
Matching invoices to purchase orders and delivery notes.
Reconciling supplier statements and resolving discrepancies.
Preparing supplier payments in line with agreed terms.
Handling supplier queries professionally and promptly.
Maintaining accurate financial records and filing systems.
Assisting with month-end procedures and reporting.
Supporting the wider finance and administration team when required.

About You

The ideal candidate will:

Have extensive experience in a purchase ledger or accounts payable role.
Possess excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
Be proficient in Microsoft Excel and Sage accounting software.
Have good communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with suppliers and colleagues.
Be able to work independently and manage priorities effectively.
Experience with Sage is essential.
