Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Assistant Restaurant Manager to join our dynamic team At FUEGO Tapas team in Riverside square, Bedford.

The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring exceptional service and a welcoming atmosphere for our guests. This position requires strong leadership skills, a passion for hospitality, and the ability to work collaboratively with both front-of-house and back-of-house staff as well as bar experience.

Responsibilities

Assist the Restaurant Manager in overseeing daily operations, ensuring smooth service and high-quality customer service.
Supervise and train staff, including waiting staff including runners and kitchen personnel, and servers, fostering a positive work environment.
Help manage inventory levels, placing orders for supplies as needed while minimising waste.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining cleanliness and organisation throughout the restaurant.
Address customer inquiries and complaints promptly, ensuring a high level of guest satisfaction.
Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely food preparation and presentation.
Participate in staff meetings to discuss performance, training needs, and operational improvements.

Requirements

Previous experience in a supervisory role within the restaurant or hospitality industry is preferred.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse team.
Familiarity with food preparation techniques and kitchen operations.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
A genuine passion for providing outstanding customer service.
