Rentokil Pest Control - Graduate Pest Control Technician

We are currently seeking a Graduate Pest Control Technician to join our dedicated team covering the Aberdeen Branch from Stirling to the Highlands

No prior experience required as we provide comprehensive, industry-leading training. Successful individuals in this role have included graduates with a science-based, business management or social science degree. Graduate Pest Control Technician Role:

We are looking for a Pest Control Technician to join our Aberdeen branch, initially supporting our wider regional territory. For the first six months, you will work as a mobile technician, travelling across the various patches covered by the Aberdeen branch to provide service support where it’s needed most.

Because this involves staying away from home during the working week, you will receive an additional £20 per day for each day spent away.

After this initial six-month period, you will transition into a permanent, local patch-based role, providing dedicated support to customers in a specific area near your home base.

Key responsibilities include:

Inspecting customer premises for signs of pests and identifying potential risks.
Swiftly tackling pest problems by cleaning and removing evidence of pest behaviour.
Offering valuable advice to customers on the maintenance and hygiene of their premises.
Completing accurate reports after every visit.
Providing exceptional customer service and upholding a professional image at all times.

During the next 12-36 months, you will have an exciting opportunity to choose your career path from one of the following roles:

Sales Surveyor
Field Biologist
Service Team Leader
Key Account Manager

Requirements

A minimum 2.2 degree in a science/BSc related subject including Social Science, or a BA in Business Management, Hospitality or Tourism.
A desire to work hard and have fun while meeting and interacting with customers daily.
Flexibility with working patterns to support business needs.
You may be required to pass a DBS check depending on the role you have applied for
