Position Overview: As Sous Chef, you will work closely with our Head Chef to oversee the day-to-day operations of the kitchen, ensuring the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and consistency are maintained at all times. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated culinary professional to contribute to the success of our establishment and showcase your culinary skills in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

The on target earning for this role is £37,340.73 per annum - comprising a base salary of £33,840.73 plus a qualified estimate of £3,500 in gratuities and service charge. As a member of the team, you will also enjoy a fantastic range of perks, benefits and rewards.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with the Head Chef to develop and execute creative menus that showcase seasonal ingredients and cater to the preferences of our guests.
Supervise and motivate kitchen staff, providing guidance and training as needed to ensure adherence to recipes, cooking techniques, and sanitation standards.
Assist in the management of inventory, ordering, and receiving of food and supplies, ensuring optimal levels are maintained while minimizing waste.
Monitor kitchen operations during service hours, proactively addressing any issues or challenges that may arise to maintain efficiency and guest satisfaction.
Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, upholding all sanitation and safety standards in accordance with local health regulations.
Contribute to the development and implementation of new culinary initiatives, continuously seeking opportunities for improvement and innovation.

Requirements :

Proven experience working in a high-volume kitchen environment, preferably in a similar role as a Sous Chef or Chef de Partie.
Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively motivate and mentor kitchen staff.
Comprehensive knowledge of culinary techniques, ingredients, and cooking methods, with a passion for creativity and innovation.
Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and delegate responsibilities effectively.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment while maintaining a positive attitude and attention to detail.
