Job Summary

We are seeking a vigilant and proactive Security Officer to safeguard our premises, assets, and personnel. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining a secure environment through vigilant surveillance, loss prevention strategies, and prompt response to incidents. Your dedication will ensure the safety of everyone on site while supporting the smooth operation of our facilities. This position offers an engaging opportunity to contribute to a secure and welcoming environment, utilizing your keen observation skills and commitment to safety.

Responsibilities

Monitor security cameras (CCTV) continuously to detect suspicious activity and ensure the safety of the premises.
Conduct regular patrols of the facility, including entrances, exits, and restricted areas, to deter theft and unauthorized access.
Implement loss prevention measures by identifying potential security breaches and addressing them promptly.
Respond swiftly and effectively to alarms, disturbances, or emergencies, including providing first aid when necessary.
Maintain detailed logs of security activities, incidents, and observations for reporting purposes.
Enforce access control policies by verifying identification and authorizations of visitors, contractors, and employees.
Collaborate with emergency responders during incidents to ensure a coordinated response.

Qualifications

Proven experience in security or surveillance roles is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for motivated candidates.
Strong knowledge of CCTV systems and surveillance techniques.
Ability to perform first aid procedures confidently in emergency situations.
Excellent observational skills with a keen eye for detail to identify potential threats or irregularities.
Good communication skills for clear reporting and effective interaction with team members and visitors.
Ability to stand, walk, or sit for extended periods while maintaining focus on surveillance tasks.
Certifications in security or related fields are advantageous but not required; willingness to obtain necessary licenses is essential.
