Full job description

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Room Attendant to join our hospitality team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organisation of guest rooms and public areas, ensuring a high standard of hygiene and comfort for our guests. Previous hotel experience and a passion for hospitality are highly desirable, as this role plays a vital part in delivering exceptional guest service and satisfaction.

5 days a week on a rotating basis will include weekends …start time 10am-2:30pm

More hours are available if desired

Duties

Clean and sanitise guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and replenishing supplies
Ensure all public areas such as corridors, lobbies, and restrooms are kept tidy and presentable
Report any maintenance issues or damages to management promptly
Restock amenities such as towels, toiletries, and beverages in guest rooms
Follow health and safety procedures to maintain a safe environment for guests and staff
Assist with laundry duties as required
Maintain a professional appearance and courteous attitude towards guests at all times

Experience

Previous experience in hotel housekeeping or hospitality is preferred
Janitorial experience is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided
Knowledge of cleaning techniques, health standards, and safety regulations is beneficial
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while adhering to organisational standards
Strong organisational skills with attention to detail and efficiency
