Packington Free Range Ltd / Harlaston Packington Ltd

Management Accountant

Part Time Position - working approx. 20hrs a week (hours & days flexible to be agreed salary pro rata)

Harlaston Packington Ltd is a fast-growing company covering livestock, property, eggs, and arable land. Packington Free Range is our distribution arm selling pigs, chicken and eggs to farm shops, restaurants, and butchers.

The role is based at our Head Office in Barton under Needwood. We offer a small but friendly open plan office and would suit someone who has a can-do attitude, a passion for numbers, a real team player, has high attention to detail and who understands the importance of confidentiality.

Duties will entail:

Purchase & Sales Ledger
Month end payment run
VAT Returns
Management Accounts (Quarterly)
Balance Sheet Reconciliations
Payroll (provide information to external bureau)
Fixed Assets
Admin Support
KPI's
Project Work
Stock accounting
Liaising with Auditors to complete annual statutory accounts and corporation tax returns.

The ideal candidate will have:

· An enthusiastic approach and be keen to learn.

· A sound accounting background

· An organised approach and excellent time management skills

· Accuracy & attention to detail

· Good interpersonal skills both face to face and over the phone / email

· Strong IT skills including word, excel and outlook
