Experienced Lettings Negotiator / Property Consultant

Location: Ingleby Barwick, Stockton-on-TeesJob Type: Full-TimeSalary: Competitive salary based on experience

About the Role

Due to continued growth, Ingleby Homes is seeking an experienced and motivated Lettings Negotiator / Property Consultant to join our busy and successful team.

This is an exciting opportunity for a confident, customer-focused individual with previous lettings experience to play a key role in delivering exceptional service to landlords and tenants whilst helping grow our lettings portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

Registering and qualifying prospective tenants.
Arranging and conducting property viewings.
Negotiating tenancy agreements and securing lets.
Managing landlord and tenant enquiries.
Carrying out property inspections when required.
Progressing applications and referencing.
Preparing tenancy documentation and ensuring compliance.
Marketing available properties across online portals and social media.
Building strong relationships with landlords, tenants, and contractors.
Assisting with general office administration and telephone enquiries.
Supporting the wider sales and lettings team when required.

Essential Requirements

Previous experience within residential lettings.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Strong customer service focus.
Well organised with good attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
Good IT skills and experience using property software.

Desirable

Knowledge of current lettings legislation and compliance requirements.
Experience carrying out inspections and property management duties.
ARLA qualification (or willingness to work towards).
