Full job description

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests. You will be responsible for providing attentive service, ensuring that all customer needs are met promptly and courteously. This position requires a passion for hospitality and a commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety and preparation.

Responsibilities

Greet and seat guests in a friendly and welcoming manner.
Take accurate food and drink orders, ensuring all special requests are noted.
Serve food and beverages promptly, ensuring that presentation meets our standards.
Assist with the preparation of food items as needed, adhering to food safety guidelines.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area, including tables and service stations.
Handle cash and card transactions efficiently while ensuring accuracy in billing.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow during busy periods.
Address guest inquiries and complaints with professionalism, striving for complete satisfaction.
Support bartending staff during peak hours or special events as required.

Skills

Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on customer service and hospitality.
Previous experience in a restaurant or catering environment is advantageous.
Knowledge of food safety standards and practices is essential.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
A positive attitude with the ability to work well within a team setting.
