Full job description

Rabbit Hole Cakes | Perth

This position will require both midweek & weekend working set out in a monthly rota.

We're looking for a friendly, enthusiastic and reliable Customer Sales Assistant to join our award-winning team on a fixed-term maternity cover contract.

If you enjoy meeting people, take pride in delivering excellent customer service and love working in a busy, independent business, we'd love to hear from you.

Hours

Fixed-term maternity cover (approximately 9–12 months)
10–15 hours per week
Hours are flexible and will include some weekend working, particularly during busy periods.

The Role

As the face of Rabbit Hole Cakes, you'll be responsible for:

Providing a warm and welcoming experience for every customer.
Serving customers in our shop and assisting with enquiries.
Taking and processing customer orders.
Operating the till and handling payments.
Packaging products to our high presentation standards.
Keeping the shop clean, well-stocked and beautifully presented.
Supporting the team with general day-to-day duties as required.

We're Looking For Someone Who Is:

Friendly, confident and approachable.
Passionate about delivering exceptional customer service.
Reliable, organised and punctual.
Able to work well in a busy environment.
Comfortable working independently and as part of a team.
Previous retail or hospitality experience is desirable but not essential.
