Full job description

Location: Notgrove Estate, Gloucestershire, GL54 3BS
Pay: £14.24 per hour (including rolled-up holiday pay)
Contract: Casual Worker Agreement, 12-month fixed term
Expected Hours: Typically 20-25 hours per week during holiday seasons. Shift are flexible and agreed weekly. Additional hours are also available within our housekeeping team for the right candidate.

Join Our Team

Cotswold Tiger Laundry is looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Laundry Assistant to join our friendly team based in our custom-built laundry facility on the beautiful Notgrove Estate.

This is a seasonal, flexible-hours role suited to someone who is looking to work during typical holiday periods.

The Role

As a Laundry Assistant, you will play an important role in ensuring our customers receive a high-quality service. Duties include:

Operating commercial washing, drying and pressing equipment
Sorting, processing and preparing customer laundry
Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the laundry
Completing daily cleaning tasks and equipment checks
Assisting with customer enquiries and occasional front-desk duties
Using our laundry management and till systems
Supporting colleagues to ensure work is completed efficiently and accurately

Essential Requirements

Physically fit and able to lift and carry laundry bags and hampers
Positive, can-do attitude
Reliable with excellent timekeeping
Able to work efficiently in a busy environment
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Team player with a willingness to help others
Ability to work independently when required

Desirable

Previous laundry, housekeeping, cleaning, hospitality or production experience
Experience working with commercial equipment

Location

Cotswold Tiger Laundry is based on the Notgrove Estate, a rural location not served by public transport.

As this is a fully site-based role, applicants must have access to their own transport and be able to travel to Notgrove reliably.
