Full job description

A fantastic opportunity has become available for a motivated individual to work with our fun and friendly in our dental practice based in Cheltenham on a Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday.

Hours: 08:30am -17:30pm

Salary: To be discussed

The role:

Meeting and greeting patients, providing a great first impression
Booking and amending appointments, answering the phone, updating patient records
Managing the diary whitespace and calling patients to book in outstanding recalls.
Calling patients to book in outstanding treatments and following up on debt reports.
Supporting the Practice Manager and clinical team with the smooth running of the practice
Making patients aware of dental services and offers
Handling payments
Accessing sensitive information whilst maintaining patient confidentiality

Experience and skills:

Able to deliver clear and accurate information.
Excellent telephone manner
Accurately deal with and balance money
Well presented
Ability to keep calm and professional in a fast-paced environment
Previous administration or reception experience (Dental practice experience desirable but not essential)
Personable, polite, positive and enthusiastic with a great customer focus
Computer literate, efficient in Microsoft Office
SOE Exact experience desirable but not essential
Strong communication and organisation skills

Work experience and skills
A knowledge of working within the dental sector would be desirable with excellent customer service skills.
