Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Staff Nurse to join our night shift team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care in a dynamic healthcare environment. This role offers an opportunity to work within a supportive team, providing essential nursing services during overnight hours to ensure patient well-being and safety.

Duties

Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients, including monitoring vital signs and administering medication as prescribed
Assist with patient assessments and develop personalised care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team
Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of patient progress and treatments
Support patients with their daily activities, ensuring comfort and dignity are upheld at all times
Respond promptly to patient needs and emergencies, demonstrating excellent clinical judgement and professionalism
Collaborate with doctors, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to optimise patient outcomes
Ensure infection control protocols are strictly followed, maintaining a clean and safe environment for patients and staff

Requirements

Proven experience in patient care within a clinical setting
Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology relevant to nursing practice
Competence in medication administration, adhering to safety guidelines and protocols
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively during night shifts
Compassionate nature with excellent communication skills to support patients and liaise with team members
Valid registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) or equivalent professional body
To work overnight hours, including weekends and public holidays as required
Ability to remain calm under pressure and demonstrate sound clinical judgement at all times

Pay: £23.10 per hour
