Cognitive Wellness CIC is seeking an enthusiastic and compassionate Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner (PWP) to join our expanding NHS Talking Therapies service.

About the Role

As a Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner, you will play a key role in supporting individuals experiencing common mental health difficulties, delivering evidence-based interventions and helping clients achieve meaningful recovery.

The role includes:

Conducting comprehensive mental health assessments.
Undertaking risk assessments and safeguarding reviews.
Delivering evidence-based low-intensity CBT interventions.
Supporting clients presenting with anxiety, depression, stress and related difficulties.
Monitoring client progress through routine outcome measures.
Maintaining accurate and timely clinical records.
Delivering interventions via telephone, video and face-to-face appointments.
Working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
Participating in supervision, case management and service development activities.

What We're Looking ForEssential Criteria

Qualified Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner (PWP) status or due to qualify shortly.
Experience working within an NHS Talking Therapies service or equivalent mental health setting.
Experience conducting assessments and risk assessments.
Knowledge of evidence-based low-intensity CBT interventions.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organisational and time management skills.
Ability to work effectively within a fast-paced environment.
Competent IT skills and experience maintaining clinical records.

Desirable Criteria

Experience using IAPTUS or similar clinical systems.
Experience delivering interventions across multiple formats (telephone, video and face-to-face).
Experience facilitating psychoeducational workshops or group interventions.
