Full job description

We have an opportunity for cleaning operative in Swadlincote at our GXO Swadlincote DE11 0BB

Work pattern: Monday- Friday 1400-1830 (22.5 hours a week)

The main purpose of the job is to work as part of a team or individually to carry out manual cleaning of facilities within a facilites/warehouse setting.

Key responsibilities

Maintain a clean and safe working environment
Adhere to all ISM and client health and safety rules and requirements
Wear any required personal protective equipment (PPE) or site-specific clothing as directed
Vacuuming of rooms and corridors and emptying of waste bins
Dusting and wiping furniture, ledges, chairs, and skirting boards
Sweeping and mopping floor surfaces, manually
Report anything in need of repair or replacement
Keep designated cleaning areas and spaces clean and tidy at all times and store all cleaning materials safely
Record all cleaning tasks as directed
Maintain good relations with client staff, contractors, and visitors to the site
You will report to the Site Supervisor
