Full job description

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Account Manager to join our team. This role combines client account management with financial responsibilities, including payroll processing and financial reporting. You will play a key role in maintaining strong client relationships while ensuring accurate financial oversight and reporting to senior leadership.

Key Responsibilities

Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships
Manage a portfolio of accounts
Process and manage payroll accurately and on time
Monitor, track, and report outstanding monies and aged debtors
Prepare and present regular financial and account performance reports to directors
Work closely with internal teams to ensure client and financial objectives are met
Resolve client and payment-related issues promptly and professionally

Requirements

Proven experience in account management with financial responsibilities
Strong experience managing payroll processes
Demonstrated experience reporting financial data to senior leadership/directors
Extensive experience using Xero accounting software is essential
Strong numerical, analytical, and organisational skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines

Desirable

Experience in SME or multi-client environments
Knowledge of credit control and debtor management
Relevant qualifications in Accounting, Finance, or Business
