Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Plasterer to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for applying plaster to interior and exterior surfaces, ensuring a high-quality finish that meets project specifications. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a background in masonry, carpentry, or related trades to develop their skills within a professional environment. The successful applicant will work on various building sites, contributing to the realisation of both residential and commercial projects.

Responsibilities

Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and applying necessary primers before plastering.
Mix and apply plaster using hand tools, power tools, and specialised equipment to achieve smooth finishes.
Repair or replace damaged surfaces, including brickwork and masonry elements, as required.
Use bricklaying techniques where necessary to support plastering tasks.
Operate a range of tools including trowels, hawks, mixers, and other hand tools efficiently and safely.
Collaborate with team members such as masons, carpenters, and roofers to ensure seamless project progression.
Follow health and safety guidelines diligently during all phases of work.
Maintain a clean and organised work environment to promote safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

Proven experience in plastering or related trades such as masonry or carpentry is preferred.
Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and specialised equipment for plastering tasks.
Knowledge of bricklaying, roofing, welding, and general masonry techniques is advantageous.
Ability to read technical drawings and follow detailed instructions accurately.
Good physical fitness with the ability to work at heights or in confined spaces if required.
Strong attention to detail with a focus on delivering high-quality finishes.
Relevant health and safety certifications are desirable but not essential; training can be provided for the right candidate. Experience:
- Proven experience as Plasterer or similar role
- Strong attention to detail and precision in tile placement
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity

- Operative to be hard working, Reliable and Trustworthy.

- CSCS Card Holder.

- Hold a full UK Driving Licence

- Clean and tidy work adhering to all safety requirements and regulations.

Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contract

Pay: £30,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
