Join Team Piranha Parcels – Weekend Self-Employed Delivery Drivers!

We are seeking keen and hard-working individuals to join our team and help us Deliver Excellence in and around Wiltshire and South Oxfordshire!

Start Date:
Typically, within 7 to 10 days from the successful completion of onboarding and all required checks.

Work Pattern:
Self-Employed – FULL-TIME Position
(5-day availability required, including at least one weekend day)

What’s it like?

Fast-paced and physical work
Variable start times
Delivering to houses, flats, and businesses as required
Typically working around 9 hours per day

We Offer:

£137.70 per day (+VAT if registered) as a self-employed contractor
1 Paid Weekday Online Induction Day (Please note: this induction is held on a weekday, so availability during the week is essential.)
2 Paid On-Road Training Days
Weekly pay, 2 weeks in arrears
Flexible working days, including weekends
Well-equipped van provided during work shifts
Uniform, fuel, insurance, and delivery device provided at no cost to the driver
Safe working conditions
Comprehensive large vehicle and on-road safety training (1 day, paid)
Dedicated on-road support manager
Routes and parcels pre-sorted — just load and go
Performance-related incentive schemes
Motivated and diverse team with progression opportunities
Regular engagement events for all team membersEssential Requirements:
Right to work in the UK
All drivers must be 21 or over, in line with insurer requirements
Full MANUAL UK/EU driving licence held for at least 1 year
Maximum 6 penalty points on licence — no DR, DG, IN, or TT endorsement codes
Pass a criminal background check (paid by us)
Pass a Drug & Alcohol screening (paid by us)
Ability to commute to SN25 to collect van each day

The Role:

Multi-drop deliveries, parcels of varying size and weight (up to 23kg max)
Operate on a self-employed subcontractor basis
Load your van with your day’s parcels
Use GPS technology to locate delivery addresses accurately
Use a delivery device to complete deliveries safely and efficiently
Provide excellent customer service at all times, being polite and professional with customers, colleagues, and warehouse staff
Maintain a safety-first approach and comply with PPE standards
Proactively solve problems encountered on the road
