Estate Housekeeper – Lower Mill Estate

Part Time | Flexible Daytime Shifts Between 10:00am and 3:00pm | Driving Essential

This role is suited to someone who:

Drives and has access to their own car
Is based near Lower Mill Estate or within easy travelling distance
Is available to work within the 10:00am to 3:00pm guest changeover window
Is reliable, organised and comfortable working independently
Takes pride in cleaning and presenting luxury properties to a high standard

You may have another job or other commitments. That is not a problem. However, you must be able to reliably take on agreed shifts within our daytime changeover hours.

About the Role

We are looking for a dependable Estate Housekeeper to help maintain and prepare high quality holiday homes at Lower Mill Estate.

Guests visit the estate for relaxing countryside stays, family holidays and special occasions, so cleanliness, presentation and reliability are extremely important. We are looking for someone who enjoys creating spotless, welcoming spaces and takes pride in delivering consistently high standards.

The Role

You will be responsible for preparing holiday properties between guest stays, ensuring each home is cleaned, reset and presented to an excellent standard before the next arrival.

Guest check out is from 10:00am and check in is from 3:00pm, so all cleans take place within this window. Daily schedules and property allocations will be provided in advance.

Full training and induction will be given, including:

Property set ups
Linen procedures
Bed presentation standards
Cleaning expectations across the estate

Once trained, you will be trusted to manage your assigned properties and ensure every home is guest ready.

Typical Responsibilities

You will be expected to:

Complete full holiday let / estate changeover cleans to a high standard
Remove used bedding and towels and replace with fresh linen
Make beds neatly with a hotel-style finish
Dust and wipe all surfaces thoroughly
Vacuum and mop floors
Fully clean kitchens, bathrooms and living areas
Restock guest essentials where required
Report damages, missing items or maintenance concerns promptly
Help maintain organised linen and supply areas
Ensure every property feels fresh, clean and welcoming for arriving guests

Pay & Hours

Pay: From £13.50-£18.00
Expected hours: 10–30 per week
Flexible daytime work between 10:00am and 3:00pm

Workload varies depending on bookings and occupancy levels.

Essential Requirements

Previous housekeeping, Airbnb, hotel or holiday let experience is helpful but not essential. Reliability, attention to detail and a strong work ethic matter most.
