Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Head Chef to lead our culinary team and elevate our dining experience. In this pivotal role, you will oversee all aspects of food production, kitchen operations, and team management to ensure the highest standards of quality, safety, and hospitality. Your expertise will inspire creativity in menu development, maintain exceptional food safety practices, and foster a positive, energetic work environment that motivates your team to deliver outstanding service and memorable meals.

Duties

Lead and supervise the entire kitchen team, including chefs, cooks, and kitchen staff, ensuring smooth daily operations
Develop innovative menus that showcase culinary excellence while meeting customer preferences and dietary needs
Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to maintain consistency, quality, and presentation standards
Manage food safety protocols rigorously to comply with health regulations and ensure a safe environment for staff and guests
Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely procurement of fresh ingredients and manage inventory effectively
Train and mentor team members to enhance their skills in food production, service techniques, and safety procedures
Maintain a lively, organized kitchen atmosphere that promotes teamwork, efficiency, and high morale

Experience

Proven supervising experience in a fast-paced restaurant or hospitality setting with demonstrated leadership skills
Extensive culinary experience with a strong background in food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen management
Solid restaurant experience with an understanding of food safety standards and serving procedures
Experience in menu development, food presentation, and managing food production workflows
Ability to lead a diverse team effectively while fostering a positive work environment focused on excellence
Strong knowledge of kitchen equipment operation, sanitation practices, and inventory control
Previous experience in hospitality or similar customer-focused environments is highly desirable

Pay: £30,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
