Front of House Receptionist

The Lytham Dental Clinic | Lytham St Annes

Are you passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and creating memorable experiences for every person you meet? At The Lytham Dental Clinic, we believe that dentistry is about people first. We are looking for a confident, personable and customer-focused Front of House Receptionist to become the welcoming face of our growing private dental practice.

This is much more than a traditional reception role. You will play a key part in ensuring every patient receives a warm welcome, feels valued throughout their journey, and leaves with a positive experience that reflects our commitment to five-star service.For the right candidate, there will also be opportunities to develop into a Treatment Coordinator (TCO) role in the future.

What You'll Be Doing

Welcoming patients and creating a warm, professional first impression.
Managing appointment diaries efficiently and proactively.
Handling incoming calls, emails and patient enquiries.
Supporting new patients through the booking process.
Ensuring patient records and pre-appointment paperwork are completed accurately.
Providing information and reassurance to patients before and after appointments.
Processing payments and managing follow-up communications.
Requesting patient feedback, reviews and testimonials.
Working closely with dentists, nurses and the wider team to deliver an outstanding patient experience.
Supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the practice.
Contributing ideas and feedback to help continually improve our service.

Previous experience in hospitality, customer service, retail or a patient-facing role.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

A customer-first mindset with a genuine desire to help people.
Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
Comfortable using digital systems and embracing new technologies, including AI-powered software and automation tools.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
