Summary

TEACHING ASSISTANT 2B (1:1 Support)

The staff and governors are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, highly motivated Teaching Assistant to join our school team We are looking for someone who:

will work closely with the class teacher to deliver high quality learning experiences for the children
work within the Key Stage 1 environment
is willing to work 1:1 with a child with Special Needs. This may be subject to change as the needs of the school change.
is organised - is a team player
has high expectations of pupil achievement and behaviour - has high standards of English and Maths
will engage with professional development opportunities, training sessions and CPD - is highly motivated, flexible, adaptable and able to use their own initiative
can support the Christian ethos of the school

This is initially a temporary contract starting from 1st September 2026 to 31st August 2027.

Essential Qualifications

NVQ Level 2 or above qualification appropriate to the post.
GCSE Grade C or above English and Mathematics or equivalent.

Essential Experience

Working in a primary school classroom environment with children.
Experience working with children in the KS1
