Job Introduction

Plumbing Apprentice – Build a Career That Makes a Real Difference!

Location: Telford
Hours: 36 hours per week
Salary: £10.58 per hour

Contract Type: Apprenticeship, 4 year fixed-term contract

Are you practical, hands-on, and ready to learn a trade that’s always in demand? Do you enjoy solving problems, working with tools, and helping others feel comfortable in their homes?

This is your opportunity to start an exciting career as a Plumbing Apprentice — where you’ll learn from experienced professionals, gain a recognised qualification, and be part of a team that truly cares.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Learn the Plumbing trade from the ground up – from fixing taps to installing heating systems
Assist in maintaining and improving homes for our residents
Work on a range of plumbing tasks in both occupied and empty properties
Communicate kindly and clearly with customers
Keep things safe, tidy, and professional – every day

What You’ll Gain:

A Level 3 Plumbing and Domestic Heating qualification

What We’re Looking For:

Maths and English (or equivalent) at GCSE 4 or above
Someone reliable, curious, and eager to learn
A great communicator who’s respectful and professional
A team player who’s not afraid to get stuck in
A positive person with a can-do attitude
Someone working towards or already holding a full UK driving licence (if age-appropriate)
Bonus if you’ve had a bit of experience in construction or maintenance work

We can offer 25 days holiday (increasing with each year of service, up to a maximum of 30 days), bank holidays and three concessionary days over the Christmas period.
