Sales Manager – Window & Door Hardware

Midlands & North England

About Safeware Hardware

Safeware Hardware is one of the UK's leading specialist suppliers of window and door

hardware, serving the fenestration industry for over 35 years. As part of the Epwin Group,

one of the UK's largest manufacturers and suppliers of low-maintenance building products, Safeware provides an extensive range of premium hardware solutions to PVCu and aluminium window and door fabricators, installers and trade professionals throughout the UK.

Due to continued growth and ambitious expansion plans, we are looking to recruit an experienced and commercially driven Sales Manager to manage and develop our customer base across the Midlands and Northern England. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established, forward-thinking business backed by the strength, stability and investment of the Epwin Group.

The Role

Reporting to the senior management team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth across your territory by developing existing customer relationships while identifying and securing new business opportunities.

Working closely with fabricators, manufacturers, installers and trade partners, you will promote Safeware's comprehensive range of market-leading window and door hardware solutions, providing both commercial and technical support to customers.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and grow relationships with existing customers across the Midlands and North.
Identify, develop and secure new business opportunities within the fenestration sector.
Deliver sales growth in line with agreed targets and business objectives.
Promote Safeware's extensive range of window and door hardware products,
including locking systems, hinges, handles, cylinders, security hardware, thresholds, weatherseals and smart hardware solutions.
Provide technical and commercial advice to customers.
Deliver product presentations, demonstrations and training where required.
Work collaboratively with internal departments to deliver outstanding customer service.
Monitor market trends, competitor activity and customer requirements.
Prepare sales forecasts, reports and maintain accurate CRM records.
Represent Safeware Hardware and the Epwin Group professionally at customer meetings, exhibitions and industry events.

About You

We're looking for an ambitious sales professional who understands the fenestration industry and enjoys developing long-term customer partnerships.

You will have:

Proven sales experience within the window, door or architectural hardware industry.
Strong knowledge of PVCu and aluminium window and door hardware.
Experience selling to window and door fabricators, manufacturers or installers.
A successful track record of managing existing accounts whilst generating new business.
Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills.
Strong commercial awareness with the ability to identify market opportunities.
The confidence to deliver product presentations and technical discussions.
A self-motivated approach with excellent organisation and time management skills.
A full UK driving licence.

Desirable Experience

Knowledge of multi-point locking systems, friction stays, hinges, handles and security
hardware.
Experience with smart hardware and connected security products.
An established network of contacts within the UK fenestration industry.
