Vacancy: Property Manager

Fixed Term Maternity Cover to start September 2026

Wellington, Telford based

The Role

Coleman Estates is a leading independent estate and letting agency based in Wellington, Shropshire.

We are looking for a high quality candidate to join our award winning team as an experienced Property Manager. The ideal person will have a professional yet approachable demeanour, strong interpersonal and organisational skills, and excel at multitasking for this fast paced role. Relevant experience within the lettings industry will be necessary.

The Responsibilities

Manage client relationships and maintain customer satisfaction
Liaise with tenants, landlords and contractors to organise repairs and maintenance
Raise works orders to contractors and ensure works complete
Process quotes and invoices to landlords
Prepare property for re-letting following check-out
Handle deposit disputes
Organise monthly periodic inspections
Deal with utility non-payments and discrepancies
Maintain out of hours emergency tenancy lists with provider

Skills

3+ years experience within the property industry preferred
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
High standard of organisation and ability to prioritise and multi-task
Able to act with discretion when dealing with confidential matters
A confident, courteous and professional manner
Self-motivated and proactive but good team player
Exceptional attention to detail with good level of written English (grammar/spelling)
Naturally positive and pragmatic approach
Diligence and understanding of data protection
Good computer literacy skills (Word/Excel etc)
Relevant industry qualification would be advantageous

Remuneration

£26,500 - £27,500 pa starting salary, depending on experience

Monthly Team Bonus Scheme payable in Love2Shop vouchers

Working hours

9.00am - 5.30pm Monday to Friday. A minimum of 1 Saturday per month will be required from 9.30am - 1.30pm, organised by way of monthly rota, with the following Friday being a half day in lieu

29 days holiday per annum to include your birthday off paid and 8 bank holidays

Fixed term maternity cover initially to commence by the start of September; potential for a permanent role with the firm for the right candidate

Pay: £26,500.00-£27,500.00 per year
