Full job description

Fridays Limited is looking for experienced HGV Class 1 Drivers to join our growing team on a Friday to Tuesday contract.

This role offers guaranteed 50 hours per week.

About the Role:

As a key member of our transport team, you will play an important role in maintaining our excellent reputation for reliability, safety, and customer service.

We are looking for professional drivers with a minimum of 2 years' HGV Class 1 driving experience who are committed to delivering a great service.

Key Responsibilities:

Complete all daily vehicle and trailer safety checks before commencing work.
Ensure loads are secured correctly and assist with loading and unloading when required.
Carry out deliveries safely, efficiently, and professionally.
Follow planned routes and schedules provided by our transport team.
Maintain high standards of vehicle and trailer cleanliness.
Deliver excellent customer service at all times.
Comply with all relevant driving, transport, and health & safety regulations.

To be successful in this role, you will:

Hold a valid HGV Class 1 licence.
Have a minimum of 2 years' HGV Class 1 driving experience.
Have a strong commitment to safety and compliance.
Be reliable, professional, and punctual.
Have a positive attitude and excellent customer service skills.
Work well both independently and as part of a team.
