Full job description

We are looking for a passionate and skilled Beauty Therapist (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent) to join our growing team at Emerald Elegance Beauty.

At Emerald Elegance Beauty, we are not looking for “just a therapist.”

We are looking for someone who genuinely cares about their work, takes pride in their results, and understands that exceptional treatments come from skill, consistency, and attention to detail, not rushing clients through appointments.

Established in 2016 and based in the beautiful village of Waddesdon, our salon is known for delivering high-quality beauty, aesthetic, and holistic treatments in a calm, welcoming environment. We specialise in advanced skin treatments, nails, massage, and lash and brow services, using natural, botanical, and vegan products wherever possible. Our reputation is built on trust, results, and strong client relationships.

As part of our team, you will play a key role in delivering outstanding client experiences while contributing to the continued growth and success of the salon.

The Role

You will be responsible for delivering a wide range of professional treatments to a consistently high standard, including:

Manicures, pedicures, gel nails and BIAB/overlays

Waxing treatments

Lash and brow services, including tinting and extensions

Facials and skin treatments

Massage (including deep tissue)

Alongside treatments, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

Providing thorough consultations and honest, tailored treatment advice

Building strong, long-term client relationships based on trust

Managing your appointments efficiently without compromising quality

Maintaining exceptional hygiene, safety, and treatment standards

Keeping treatment areas clean, organised, and fully stocked

Supporting general salon operations, including stock and bookings

Promoting services and products in a natural, client-focused way

Assisting with social media content where possible

What we are looking for

This role is ideal for someone who:

Builds genuine relationships with clients rather than treating them as numbers

Is reliable, organised, and respectful of their time and diary

Enjoys being busy and working as part of a supportive team

Represents the salon with professionalism and confidence

This role is not suitable for someone who cuts corners, lacks attention to detail, or is not open to learning and development.

Requirements

NVQ Level 3 Beauty Therapy (or equivalent) preferred

Minimum 1 years salon experience required

Strong skills across nails, waxing, lashes, and facials

Excellent communication and customer service skills

Ability to work independently and manage a busy workload

Flexible availability, including alternate Saturdays and at least one or two evenings per week

Fluent English
