Full job description

The Dealership administrator is responsible for providing administrative support to the Dealership and Accounting Department. This includes reconciling daily takings and bank funds, reconciling petty cash, maintaining spreadsheets, and liaising with the sales and service departments. The ideal candidate will have a working knowledge of Excel and an understanding of the sales and purchase ledger.

Responsibilities:

Reconcile the showroom's daily takings and bank funds.
Reconcile petty cash.
Maintain spreadsheets.
Liaise with the accounts department and with our sales and service departments.
Create and maintain the motorcycle stock records
Register motorcycles using AFRL (in-house training will be provided).
Process V5s following motorcycle sale to notify DVLA.
Assist at new motorcycle launch events.
Answer telephone enquiries to direct the customer to the correct department.
Perform any other tasks as required to enable the smooth running of the Triumph dealership.

Qualifications:

1-2 years of experience in an accounting or administrative role.
Working knowledge of Excel.
Understanding of the sales and purchase ledger.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Attention to detail and accuracy.
