Overview

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Kitchen Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our busy culinary establishment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in food production, cooking, and food safety, coupled with proven management and leadership skills. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead a dedicated team, ensuring exceptional service and high standards of quality in a fast-paced environment. The Kitchen Supervisor will be responsible for maintaining efficient kitchen operations, supervising staff, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.

Duties

Manage all aspects of kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and serving processes.
Oversee food safety standards, ensuring compliance with hygiene regulations and proper handling procedures.
Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and manage stock control to minimise waste.
Ensure that all dishes are prepared to the highest standards of presentation and taste.
Maintain a clean and organised kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety protocols.
Coordinate with front-of-house staff to deliver seamless service to customers.
Implement operational policies and procedures to optimise efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Handle customer feedback professionally, resolving any issues promptly.

Experience

Proven experience in food production, cooking, serving, and food preparation within a restaurant or hospitality setting.
Management or supervising experience in a culinary environment is essential.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
Extensive knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in kitchen management.
Previous restaurant or kitchen experience demonstrating versatility across various roles such as chef or barista is highly desirable.
Familiarity with managing inventory, ordering supplies, and controlling costs effectively.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently under pressure.

Pay: £32,000.00 per year
