Overview
We are seeking a versatile and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Barista/Bartender & Chef. This dynamic role combines the art of crafting exceptional beverages, delivering outstanding service, and preparing delicious food. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for hospitality, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop a broad skill set within the food and beverage industry.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, cocktails, and soft drinks with precision and flair.
Deliver friendly and professional service to customers, ensuring an enjoyable experience.
Assist in food preparation, including assembling dishes and maintaining high standards of presentation and hygiene.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the barista station, kitchen area, and dining space in accordance with food safety regulations.
Manage orders efficiently, ensuring timely delivery during busy periods.
Handle cash transactions accurately and operate POS systems.
Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory management.
Adhere to all health and safety guidelines, including food safety procedures.
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth daily operations.

Skills

Proven experience as a barista or bartender is highly desirable.
Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in food handling.
Experience in serving customers in a hospitality setting.
Ability to prepare a variety of food items with attention to quality and presentation.
Basic maths skills for handling transactions and measuring ingredients accurately.
Excellent time management skills to prioritise tasks during busy periods.
Strong organisational skills to maintain cleanliness and stock levels efficiently.
Friendly demeanour with excellent communication skills.
