PHYSIOTHERAPIST

We work with a range of customers from Blue Light services and the NHS to Private Health insurers and Corporate Clients which produces a varied case load and lots of opportunities for clinical progression.

Summary of the role

Responsibility for own case load and for a defined area of the service or a particular patient type, working without direct supervision and within clearly defined operational policies and procedures.
Undertake all aspects of clinical duties as an autonomous practitioner, working within the ethical framework provided by the CSP/HCPC rules of professional conduct.
Perform physiotherapeutic assessment of patients with diverse presentations, to provide a diagnosis and develop and deliver an individualised treatment programme.

Key Responsibilities

To undertake a comprehensive assessment of patients including those with diverse or complex presentations/multi pathologies; use clinical reasoning skills and manual assessment techniques to provide an accurate diagnosis of their condition.
Formulate and deliver an individual physiotherapy treatment programme based on a sound knowledge of evidence-based practice and treatment options using clinical assessment, reasoning skills and knowledge of treatment skills e.g., manual physiotherapy techniques, patient education, exercise prescription, electrotherapy techniques and other alternative options.
Formulate accurate prognoses and recommend best course of intervention, developing comprehensive treatment plans.

Essential experience and qualifications

BSc (hons) Physiotherapy degree (or on course to graduate in the near future).
Health & Care Professions Council (HCPC) membership.
Chartered Society of Physiotherapists (CSP) membership.
Experience of conducting initial assessments, providing diagnosis, and prescribing management plans.
Strong English language skills (verbal, reading and writing).
Good IT skills including word processing and experience with MS Office
Must be located in the UK, in a commutable distance to the clinics

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: £15.00-£20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 3 – 20 per week
