Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and organised Office Administrator to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our office environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing administrative tasks, supporting team members, and maintaining effective communication across departments. Prior office experience and strong computer skills are highly valued, along with a professional attitude and excellent organisational abilities. This paid position offers an opportunity to develop your administrative expertise within a dynamic organisation.

Duties

Manage day-to-day administrative operations, including filing, data entry, and document management
Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence via email, phone, and postal services with professional phone etiquette
Schedule appointments, meetings, and maintain calendars for team members
Prepare reports, presentations, and other documents using Microsoft Office and Google Workspace tools
Assist with invoicing and bookkeeping tasks using QuickBooks or similar accounting software
Support onboarding processes for new employees or interns
Maintain organised records of company activities and client information
Provide general clerical support to ensure office efficiency and organisation

Skills

Proven office experience with strong organisational skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace (Gmail, Drive, Calendar)
Experience with Sage 50 or similar accounting software is desirable
Excellent typing speed with high accuracy for data entry tasks
Strong communication skills with professional phone etiquette
Demonstrated ability to prioritise tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment
Good understanding of administrative procedures and clerical practices
Ability to adapt quickly to new software or systems as required
