Job Overview

We are seeking a friendly and efficient Barista/All Rounder to join our vibrant team. This role involves preparing and serving high-quality beverages, assisting with food preparation, and providing excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will be passionate about coffee and food, organised, and capable of working in a fast-paced environment. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop barista skills while contributing to a welcoming atmosphere for our customers.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialised drinks, ensuring consistency and quality.
Assist with food preparation tasks such as assembling sandwiches, snacks, or other menu items.
Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene in accordance with health regulations.
Serve customers efficiently and courteously, taking orders accurately and handling payments using the till system.
Manage stock levels, restock supplies, and keep the workspace clean and organised throughout your shift.
Ensure the café environment remains welcoming, tidy, and inviting for all visitors.
Support team members during busy periods to ensure smooth operations.

Experience

Previous experience as a barista or in a customer-facing food service role is preferred but not essential; training will be provided.
Knowledge of food safety standards is advantageous.
Experience in serving customers with professionalism and friendliness is desirable.
Basic maths skills are necessary for handling transactions accurately.
Good time management skills to prioritise tasks efficiently during busy periods.
