Full job description

Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Food & Beverage Operations Manager to oversee the daily operations of our hospitality establishment. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a diverse team, ensuring high standards of food safety and quality, and delivering exceptional customer service. This role offers an exciting opportunity for individuals with a passion for culinary arts, management, and hospitality to lead our food and beverage services to excellence. The position is paid and suitable for candidates with a strong background in food production, cooking, serving, and restaurant management.

Duties

Oversee daily food and beverage operations, ensuring smooth service delivery across all departments
Supervise and lead a team of kitchen staff, servers, baristas, and other personnel to maintain high standards of performance
Coordinate food preparation, presentation, and service to meet quality standards and customer expectations
Implement and monitor food safety protocols in compliance with health regulations
Manage inventory levels, order supplies, and control costs effectively
Develop staff schedules, organise training programmes, and conduct performance appraisals
Ensure the cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen and service areas
Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely procurement of ingredients and equipment
Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction through attentive service and problem resolution
Lead initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and optimise guest experience

Experience

Proven management or supervisory experience within a restaurant or hospitality environment
Extensive background in food production, cooking, food preparation, and serving roles
Familiarity with kitchen operations, culinary techniques, and food safety standards
Experience in supervising teams in fast-paced settings such as restaurants or cafes
Knowledge of hospitality best practices including customer service excellence and staff training
Barista experience is considered advantageous but not essential
Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and manage multiple priorities effectively

Pay: £4,500.00-£6,250.00 per month
