Full job description

Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and professional Bartender to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our members & guests, creating a welcoming atmosphere, and ensuring that all beverages are prepared and served to the highest standards. This role offers an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about hospitality and customer service, with a focus on maintaining a safe and enjoyable environment for all patrons. The position is suitable for those who thrive on demonstrating a positive & welcoming attitude.

Duties

Greet members & guests warmly and take drink orders efficiently, ensuring prompt service.
Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and presentation guidelines.
Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and work surfaces, adhering to food safety standards.
Check identification to verify legal drinking age and prevent underage sales.
Manage cash register transactions accurately, including processing payments and issuing receipts.
Restock bar supplies as needed, monitoring inventory levels to prevent shortages.
Engage with members & guests to create a friendly atmosphere while promoting special offers & upcoming events.
Follow health and safety regulations diligently, ensuring a safe environment for both staff and customers.

Experience

Previous experience in bartending is essential .
Knowledge of food safety standards relevant to beverage service.
Strong serving skills with the ability to handle multiple orders efficiently during busy periods.
Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
Excellent time management abilities to prioritise tasks effectively in a lively setting.
Demonstrated ability to work well under pressure while maintaining professionalism and friendliness.
Good communication skills with an approachable demeanour suitable for engaging with diverse clientele. This role offers an engaging work environment where your hospitality skills can flourish, contributing to memorable guest experiences.

Pay: £12.94 per hour
