Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Associate Podiatrist to join our team. The successful candidate will provide specialised foot and lower limb care, working closely with patients to diagnose, treat, and manage a variety of podiatric conditions. This role offers an excellent opportunity for professional development within a supportive environment that values patient-centred care and continuous learning.

Duties

Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' foot health, including medical history review and physical examinations
Diagnose a wide range of podiatric conditions such as infections, deformities, and injuries
Develop and implement personalised treatment plans, including prescribing orthotics, footwear advice, or medication as appropriate
Perform minor surgical procedures when necessary, adhering to clinical guidelines and safety standards
Educate patients on foot health maintenance, injury prevention, and lifestyle modifications
Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in accordance with healthcare regulations
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic patient care
Stay updated with the latest developments in podiatry through ongoing professional development

Qualifications

Qualified Podiatrist registered with the HCPC and Royal College of Podiatrists
Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members
Proficiency in English, both written and spoken, for clear documentation and patient consultations
Good IT skills for managing electronic health records and clinical documentation
Ability to work independently whilst also being a strong team player
Commitment to delivering high-quality patient care in a compassionate manner
Confident with lone working
