Weekend Community Care Assistant – Make Every Day Matter

EDS Homecare | Chesterfield, Dronfield, Peak District & Derbyshire Dales
£14.00 – £14.75 per hour + paid travel time + mileage

What You’ll Be Doing

As a Community Care Assistant, you’ll support people in their own homes with day-to-day living, including:

Personal care
Medication support
Preparing meals and drinks
Companionship and emotional support
Light domestic duties
Encouraging independence and wellbeing

Paid travel time between visits
25p per mile mileage allowance + 20p government top-up
Regular shift patterns and consistent hours

Full paid training and shadowing before you start
Ongoing support from a friendly nurse-led management team

Weekend Shift Patterns : Saturday and Sunday

AM: 07:00 – 14:00
PM: 16:00 – 22:00
* More hours available on request

Weekend and bank holiday working is included based on your availability.

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for caring people with the right values and attitude.

You’ll need:

Good English communication skills
A full UK driving licence
Your own vehicle with business insurance
A compassionate, dependable nature
