Role: Executive Assistant

Location: Hybrid, based from one of our offices in Derby, Manchester or Warrington

Salary: we anticipate paying a salary in the £30,000.00 - £39,400.00 range

Our mission is to deliver clean, affordable energy for all. Our Small Modular Reactor (SMR) programme offers a British solution to a global energy challenge, positioning us to become a world leader in innovative nuclear technology and a key UK export success.

In this context, we’re looking for an Executive Assistant to support our Programme Director and wider directorate. This is a highly visible role, working closely with senior stakeholders to ensure smooth day‑to‑day operations while enabling leaders to focus on strategic priorities and organisational impact.

We’ll need you to:

Coordinating complex diaries, meetings and travel arrangements across multiple stakeholders
Preparing high‑quality documents, presentations and correspondence to support senior leaders
Managing expenses, purchase orders and administrative processes efficiently and accurately
Supporting events and collaborating with Executive Assistants across the organisation to ensure alignment

What you’ll bring

This is a high‑impact role where you’ll bring sound judgement, adaptability and a collaborative approach, alongside the confidence to work closely with senior stakeholders in a fast‑paced environment.

We’re particularly interested in:

A solid foundation in administration (e.g. GCSEs in English and Maths or equivalent), with relevant experience supporting senior leaders
Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and changing demands effectively
A high level of discretion and professionalism when handling confidential information
Confidence using business systems and tools, and collaborating across teams to deliver outcomes

What’s in it for you?

We anticipate a salary of £30,000.00 - £39,400.00 dependent on the skills, values, and knowledge you bring.

Pension - 12% employer and 6% employee contributions.
Holidays - 28 days holiday (+ public holidays) and the ability to buy or sell up to 4 days

Life Assurance - 6x pensionable pay
£250 - One-off payment for new starters for home office purchases
