Salary: £30,225.00
Contract: Permanent, Full Time
Working Hours: Monday to Friday

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Catering Manager to lead the catering operation at a prestigious contract catering site.

This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate hospitality professional who enjoys delivering exceptional food and service, developing a strong team, and creating a positive experience for customers every day.

Working Monday to Friday, you will take overall responsibility for the day-to-day catering operation, ensuring consistently high standards across food quality, service, presentation, compliance, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage the day-to-day catering operation, ensuring a high-quality service is delivered consistently.
Manage, motivate, and develop the catering team, creating a positive and engaging working environment.
Plan and oversee menus, food preparation, presentation, and service in line with client expectations.
Maintain excellent standards of food quality, hygiene, health & safety, and allergen management.
Monitor financial performance, including budgets, costs, purchasing, and waste.
Build and maintain strong relationships with the client and key stakeholders.
Respond positively to customer feedback and continually look for ways to improve the catering experience.
Manage staffing levels, rotas, training, and performance.
Ensure all company and statutory policies and procedures are followed.
Support the delivery of hospitality, events, and other catering requirements across the site.
Drive innovation and continuous improvement within the catering operation.

About You

We are looking for someone who:

Has previous experience in a Catering Manager, Restaurant Manager, Hospitality Manager, or similar senior catering role.
Has experience managing and developing a team.
Is commercially aware and confident managing budgets and costs.
Has a strong understanding of food safety, health & safety, and allergen legislation.
Is passionate about delivering excellent food and customer service.
Has excellent communication and organisational skills.
Is confident building strong relationships with clients, customers, and colleagues.
Can lead by example and inspire a team to achieve high standards.
Is proactive, hands-on, and able to work effectively in a busy contract catering environment.
