Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Electrician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems across various projects. This role offers an excellent opportunity to utilise your technical expertise in a dynamic environment, ensuring safety and compliance with industry standards. Candidates must have relevant electrical experience and be committed to delivering high-quality work.

Duties

Install, test, and maintain electrical wiring, systems, and fixtures in residential, commercial, or industrial settings.
Troubleshoot electrical issues using appropriate tools and techniques to identify faults efficiently.
Repair or replace faulty wiring, circuit breakers, switches, and other electrical components.
Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams to execute installations accurately.
Ensure all work complies with current electrical codes and safety regulations.
Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively during installation and repair tasks.
Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems to prevent potential hazards or failures.
Document work performed and report on any issues requiring further attention or upgrades.

Skills

Proficiency in using hand tools such as pliers, screwdrivers, wire strippers, and voltage testers.
Experience with power tools including drills, saws, and impact drivers relevant to electrical work.
Strong electrical experience with a solid understanding of wiring practices, circuit design, and safety standards.
Ability to read technical drawings and schematics accurately.
Good problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose issues swiftly.
Excellent organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently on-site.
Strong attention to detail ensuring all work is completed safely and to code standards. Candidates should possess a valid qualification in electrical installation or maintenance and hold relevant certifications where applicable. The role requires a proactive approach with a focus on safety, quality workmanship, and continuous professional development.
