Full job description

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper/Cleaner to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organisation within various premises, ensuring a high standard of hygiene and presentation. Previous experience in hospitality or janitorial services is preferred, but full training will be provided. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work in a professional environment where attention to detail and reliability are valued.

Duties

Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, communal areas, and private residences as required
Change bed linens, replenish supplies, and ensure all areas are sanitised according to company standards
Use cleaning equipment and products safely and efficiently
Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning tasks
Maintain organised storage of cleaning supplies and equipment
Follow health and safety procedures at all times to ensure a safe working environment
Assist with laundry duties when necessary
Ensure all cleaning tasks are completed within designated timeframes to meet operational schedules

Experience

Previous experience in hotel housekeeping, hospitality, or janitorial services is desirable
Knowledge of cleaning techniques and the use of cleaning products and equipment
Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
Attention to detail to ensure high standards of cleanliness are maintained
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Flexibility to adapt to different working environments and schedules
