FineCal partners with leading global manufacturer brands such as 3M,Tesa, SIA etc to supply high-quality adhesive tapes and industrial consumables to businesses across a range of sectors. We focus on product expertise, reliability, and long-term client relationships, positioning ourselves as a trusted commercial partner to our customers.

The Role

We are looking for an experienced External Key Account Manager to manage and grow a portfolio of key clients across the East Midlands. The role is focused on the sale of adhesive tapes and industrial consumables from globally recognised manufacturers.

This is a field-based, client-facing position combining relationship management with a strong commercial focus. You’ll be responsible for maintaining existing accounts while identifying new opportunities to expand product usage, increase revenue, and strengthen customer partnerships.

Key Responsibilities

Client Relationship Management

- Manage and develop relationships with key customers across the East Midlands

- Act as the primary contact for product enquiries, pricing, and ongoing support

- Carry out regular site visits to understand client operations and requirements

Sales & Account Growth

- Drive sales and margin attainment of adhesive tapes and industrial consumables within your territory

- Identify and convert opportunities to introduce new products from global brands

Product Expertise

- Build strong knowledge of product ranges and their industrial applications to provide a solutions-based approach for customers

Commercial Ownership

- Create and manage quotations, pricing, and contract negotiations

- Lead account renewals and secure long-term agreements

- Monitor margins to ensure profitable growth

Internal Collaboration

- Work closely with suppliers and internal teams to ensure supply chain meets customer needs and maintains high service levels

Personal Profile Essentials

- Proven and demonstrable experience in B2B sales, field sales, or key account management within industrial products, manufacturing, or consumables

- Strong commercial mindset with a track record of achieving sales and margin targets

- Ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships

- Self-motivated and comfortable working independently in a field-based role

- Full UK driving licence

- Full IT and Social Media Literacy

Personal Profile Desirables

- Strong knowledge of adhesive tapes, packaging, or related product categories

- Good networking and knowledge base of the East Midlands manufacturing sector
