Role Overview

The Land & Stakeholder Coordinator supports the successful progression of land acquisition and related activities by acting as a key liaison between landowners, legal representatives, surveyors, government agencies, and the wider project team. The role focuses on maintaining strong local relationships, coordinating documentation, resolving day-to-day issues, and ensuring land transactions progress efficiently from initial engagement through to completion. The project is primarily focused in the Caribbean.

Key Responsibilities

* Build and maintain positive relationships with landowners and local stakeholders.

* Act as a primary point of contact for landowners throughout the acquisition process.

* Coordinate documentation required for land transactions and ensure records remain accurate and up to date.

* Liaise with legal representatives, surveyors, valuers, and other professional advisers to support transaction progress.

* Monitor the status of land acquisitions and follow up on outstanding actions.

* Coordinate meetings with landowners and support negotiations where appropriate.

* Assist in resolving issues that may delay or impact land transactions.

* Maintain accurate databases, correspondence, and land ownership records.

* Provide regular updates on transaction progress and emerging risks.

* Support due diligence by gathering information and coordinating required documentation.

* Assist with local logistics and stakeholder engagement activities as required.

* Support the wider leadership team with administrative and operational tasks relating to land acquisition and community engagement.

The role involves speaking directly with landowners, building relationships with them, negotiating prices, and ultimately getting them comfortable with selling their plots.

Requirements

Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
Confident communicator with the ability to build trust and maintain professional relationships.
Experience coordinating multiple stakeholders simultaneously.
Ability to manage confidential and sensitive information.
Strong administrative and record-keeping skills.
Proactive, reliable, and able to work independently.
Familiarity with property, land, legal, or real estate processes is advantageous.
